Kuala Lumpur, 28 September 2010 – OSK Investment House (Malaysia) Berhad (KFHMB), the first foreign Islamic bank in the country, announced the winners of its Gold Discovery campaign for the month of August today.
The 10 lucky winners will each receive a KFH-Gold Account-i with a deposit value of 10 grams of gold. The nationwide deposit campaign runs until 31 October 2010, offering a total of 30 monthly prizes and a grand prize of a KFH-Gold Account-i with a deposit value of one kilogram of gold.
Congratulating the winners, Puan Jamelah Jamaluddin, Chief Executive Officer of KFHMB said, “Response from our customers has been very encouraging and we are pleased with the progress. The initiative is in line with the Bank’s aim to reach out to consumers and the general public. We plan to further grow the Bank’s retail business to complement our present business offerings, in conjunction with the Fifth Anniversary of KFHMB in Malaysia this year.”
Explaining the winners’ selection process, Puan Jamelah said, “As an Islamic financial institution, KFHMB maintains its transparency throughout the draw event to ensure its fairness. In tandem with this, the procedure was performed and witnessed by representatives from the Bank’s Shariah division and Legal and Compliance division.”
Eligible customers can participate by filling up the Gold Discovery Contest form and answering a question correctly. To be eligible for the grand prize draw, customers must maintain at least a RM3,000 balance in KFH-Gold Account-i, Current Account or Savings Account as at 31 October 2010. Every customer is entitled to one monthly prize.
The contest registration forms are available at the Bank’s Branches located at Bayan Lepas, Penang; Taman Molek, Johor Bahru; Jalan Satok, Kuching; Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur; Jalan Pinang, Kuala Lumpur, Batu Unjur, Klang and Shah Alam, Selangor.
